Hat tip to Mama on a Budget for the upgraded logo
Is this real life?
Honestly, I really don't know. Went to Vegas for a bachelor party over Memorial Day weekend and was the best man in the wedding the subsequent week. Been in a haze ever since and being in a haze is not conducive for writing/editing a blog. Kudos to Darrin and Jess for the updates and especially on the cash mob at The Blue Marble.
Because she's better at these things - and because the gals that read this blog might enjoy it - here's my friend, Allison's recap on the wedding here.
- The first concert in the amphitheater is tonight at 7:00. It's a jazz ensemble. Bring a blanket and take pictures so we can steal them and put them on our website. Or give them to us. Your call.
- The Garden Tour is this weekend. Via The Community Press.
- Patrick Towles and Ozzy Sheehan left the friendly confines of Fort Thomas for bigger and better things in Lexington to get started on their Kentucky football careers. Patrick will compete with Max Smith, a redshirt Sophomore, for a chance to start at Quarterback. Ozzy may be a candidate for redshirt this year, but don't count out either former Bluebird for pushing to getting on the field this year.
- The fourth Mark vs. Food installment is scheduled for June 16th at 1:00 at the Izzy's location in Florence. We will be taking on the 110 Reuben Challenge, which was featured on Adam Richman's Man vs. Food Nation. More details to follow.
To date, we've raised $1400 for The Brighton Center through these competitions. If you follow me on twitter, you've already figured out who I'll be taking on. If you don't follow me, go do it.
