Blue Marble Cash Mob A Success

I hope you had a chance to make out on Saturday and show our amazing independent children's bookstore a little love.  If you didn't you still can, it just will not be as a part of a larger group of community members supporting a local treasure.

While the turnout didn't appear to be overwhelming there was a steady stream of people through at least while I was there.  The cash mob also brought the Blue Marble some extra media attention as both Channel 19 and WCPO were there to cover it.  Follow the link on 19 to see the short story and a picture.

I hate to admit but it was also the first time I had been in the store and I have to say it was amazing.  For anyone who has read the Goodnight Moon book they have a replica room upstairs that was very well done (pic above)

The store also has a great garden out back where they do author events such as the one on Saturday that included a butterfly show and tell.  Pretty amazing stuff for a 33rd anniversary.  If you are ever in the market for a great pre-school birthday present stop in and grab a few books - you won't be disappointed.

  1. Fort Thomas Matters organized it, specificlaly Jessica Duke. Jess, thanks for making this happen.
