Happy birthday Barb... these ladies had a special surprise for a certain someone in the parade. What is not to like about a bunch of crazy ladies with a blow-up doll.
Everyone was trying to hide from the sun and where there wasn't shade - people supplied their own.

Is it me or does this parade need some new life? A string of Corvette's, followed by an interval, followed by politicians, dance teams that aren't dancing, a mix of local businesses and a mess of fire trucks. If it wasn't for the lawn chair troop and the good humor man... And the intervals between marchers sometimes seemed interminable. Maybe I'm just turning into an old curmudgeon, but I think this parade needs some new "stuff." Yes? No?
I agree. There was not even a single float! Just people in trucks. I think they should do a float contest by street for next year! Get your street to design an actual float that best describes your neighborhood. Then, everyone would have someone to really root for. Also, no more politicians at all!!!
