Merchants & Music A Success
This is what I had in mind when I wrote posts like this about what the amphitheater could be or about the importance of programming to the success of the investment made in Tower Park.
The format, programming, and community and business engagement in the festival this year was excellent. The weather was great (at least until the sun went down). The use of the amphitheater as the centerpiece of the festival was a great touch. One great benefit was that it provided seating for all festival-goers but kept the sound of the festival manageable for having conversations either with merchants or friends.
The kid zone with inflatables and kid related vendors was awesome and the food was fantastic. Mio's had very affordable options, and there was pull pork and burritos.
Overall a very good event and the format was excellent.

The festival could not have been better. I took my kids, ages starting at 3 up to 10, and my 87 year old grandmother. We ALL had a ball! Thank you very much to all that made it happen. It was a night with my family I will never forget.
Merchants & Music Festival 2012... Nearly 400 photos from the festival this past weekend. Enjoy! Chris Stegner, BluegrassPhotography.Net
Don't forget to share the link with friends that were at the festival, and especially people you know weren't there so they can see what a great event the city of Fort Thomas puts on!
Looking forward to next year!
