Anita's Mexican Bar and Grill Lunch Specials
The first time I walked into Anita's Mexican Bar and Grill, it was absolutely packed. Luckily it was a nice night, so we were able to find a seat on the newly built patio outside.
The chips and salsa were brought out quickly, but the thought went through my head that we could be there a while. A brand new restaurant, with brand new servers and a raucous crowd generally means you're going to be left waiting longer than you would have liked.
Then our server came. Not agitated, calm and prompt. As crowded as it was, we were served quickly. The food was amazing, the drinks never got low. Have I mentioned the margarita's have Frisch's ice?!
At the end of the meal, I wanted to meet the owner, Pedro Meza. I asked the little worker who was tirelessly refilling our chips and salsa. He pointed out Pedro, who just happened to also be our server that night.
With that I knew: Anita's was going to be a success. Meza, who could obviously see the servers were being stretched thin with the large crowd, took the bull by the horns and started serving tables, busing tables, running drinks.
Here are the lunch specials, specifically for our Fort Thomas Matters readers. All lunch specials plus a drink for only $5.99. They are super fast and will get you in and out.
