No matter your age we have
all enjoyed a day at the park. Taken
advantage of the jungle gyms, fishing holes, and hiking trails. Fort Thomas is fortunate to have outstanding
recreational facilities in and around the city.
While a majority of our readership is mostly familiar with local parks
like Tower Park,
Highland
Park, and Rossford
Park, I am guessing there is a healthy number of our readers who spent
countless summer days on the grounds of A.J.
Jolly Park.
A.J. Jolly has been serving
all of Campbell County for 50 years, and they’re ready to celebrate a
half-century of successful operation!
Saturday, August 17 the
Jolly Park Community Development Council is hosting the 50th

This is sure to be a party
for the ages! The celebration provides
families and park lovers the opportunity to take in the beauty of the park, as
well as enjoy all the recreational activities being made available.

like to plan your visit around a certain activity.
A.J. Jolly Park has provided
a peaceful sanctuary for outdoor enthusiasts for many years. The park has served Campbell County and
Northern Kentucky specifically very well.
If you are like me, you can recall a memory from the park that you could
not experience anywhere else. It is
those experiences that will be celebrated this weekend; those memories that
keep people coming back to those hallowed grounds in Alexandria, Kentucky. So even though the park is not in Fort Thomas
it is a jewel of Campbell County and all should celebrate it!
