As a part of FTM’s commitment to shopping local and support
of small businesses, we are highlighting the work of one of our great
advertising partners, Craig Wieglein, owner of Mansion Hill Gallery, by doing a
“Senior Photo of the Month” series wherein FTM highlights a local high school
senior and showcases the exceptional work done by Mansion Hill. On a personal
side note, Mansion Hill is very near and dear to my heart as Craig not only did
my senior photos but also, more importantly, has done my wedding photos and all
family photos since.
This month’s senior is Laura Bunning. Bunning is the president of her senior
class at Highlands High School and also is president of the National Honors
Society. She is a member of
STAND (Sticking Together and Not Denying) and also a member of the Freshmen
Mentor Advisory Board.
Between fulfilling her duties in these roles, she
spends her time editing the school newspaper; she is editor-in-chief (please be
kind when reviewing this post!).
While she is not busy “padding” her incredibly impressive resume, she is
an avid swimmer for the 2012 Regional Championship HHS swim team. Additionally, she attended the
Governor’s Scholars Program- the highly competitive KY academic honors summer
camp. While she is not yet certain
where she will attend undergraduate, she is confident she will be attending law
school and suffice it to say, she should have no difficulty being successful
wherever she may go.
So, consider this high-achieving student to be a vote of
confidence in the youth of this country and enjoy the exceptional work of
Mansion Hill.
