Just because the temperature is cooling off does not mean that your social calendars should also cool off anytime soon. This fall, there are some great activities happening throughout the city. Make sure you mark your calendars for the following events because we know you won't want to miss them.
Jack-O-Lantern Wak: October 24
Billed as "a wooded trail lit with 1,000 luminaries and over 200 jack-o-lanterns" but the Ft. Thomas Recreation Department, this event is always a hit with the community. Admission is free, and there are also fall family photos you can take to remember the event. Trick or Treat: October 31
From 6:00pm until 8:00pm, the streets of Ft. Thomas will be taken over by all types of ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and probably a fake Miley Cyrus or two.
6th Annual USO Dance: November 1
Enjoy a catered dinner and live band from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Tickets are $10 for Veterans or $25 per person. More information is located on the Recreation Department's website.
Salute to Veterans: November 7-10
Check out our visit last year to this great event for a sneak peek of what to expect this year. This event draws a great crowd, and there is a little something for everyone. There will be Sixth Scale Model Displays, Re-enactors, and Military artists at the event.
You Can't Take It With You: November 7, 9-11
Highlands High School's Drama Department will be performing this classic comedy about two American families. All performances take places at the Performing Arts Center.
