BM2 Freight Services, Inc. participated in the Movember initiative, helping raise funds an awareness to men’s health issues such as prostate cancer and colon cancer. As an employer of 15 men, BM2 Freight offered up a $50 donation for each employee that would grow a mustache for the month of November. 9 of the 15 men took part and BM2 made a $450 donation to Movember.com
“I was extremely proud of the level of participation,” said BM2 Freight’s co-founder, Kevin Ball. “60% of our staff took part without any sort of personal incentives to do so. We had shirts made up and it made for a fun environment while also creating much-needed awareness for men’s health that affects us all one way or the other.”
BM2 Freight was started in 2008 with only 3 employees and in the past five years has grown to have revenues in excess of $12M per year They specialize in full-truckload transportation managing all kinds of freight from museum exhibits to building materials to grocery goods and produce.
