Details on Bomb Threat Suspect Still Few

Almost a month and a half after Highlands High and Middle Schools were put on alert after a bomb threat was called into the school and still no suspects have been apprehended.

-- FTM led the way on the coverage here. Also READ the details FTM gathered afterward here.

Fort Thomas Police have been working with multiple companies, from which the call could have been made.

"Right now, we have sent out subpoenas to all of the companies that were involved in the originating call," said Fort Thomas Police Sergeant, Casey Kilgore. "We believe the call went through an internet provider, so we are dealing with multiple companies."

Through Google Analytics, FTM is able to see search terms that people use, which bring them to our landing page. Over the course of the last month, there has been a spike in the google-search "Give Anonymous Tip to Fort Thomas Police."

Whether that search has to do with the bomb threat or anything else, we reached out to FTPD to see if there was a system in place. According to Lieutenant Rich Whitford, there is. "Our city webpage has a link to our police website for tipsters.  We receive a few tips," he said.

I was unable to find the link, but if you have an anonymous tip, feel free to comment on our page. We will pass it onto the FTPD.
