Shopping Fort Thomas Estate Sales via Everything But The House

Everything But The House, or what I like to refer to as EBTH, is the best new home decor source I have found in the past year. EBTH is essentially an online estate sale. They sell everything but the physical building. Therefore, you get to go online and bid on the individual contents of the home. Items include furniture, home decor accents, gardening tools, antiques, clothing, handbags and even vehicles. The best part? Bidding for each item starts at $1, which means you can score great deals!

EBTH started as a local company hosting sales in the Greater Cincinnati area, but has now expanded to the Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville and Lexington markets. Fort Thomas homes are often featured on this site, which makes picking up your winnings super convenient.

My husband and I purchased a bar cart for my brother-in-law's house from an EBTH sale at home in Fort Thomas. We ended up pay $23 for this cart, which is a steal considering current bar cart popularity. The cheapest you can find a new one is $130 at Target. Prices of bar carts soar up to the $1,200 range. (Want inspiration for adding a bar cart to your own home? See ideas here.)

Once you win an item on EBTH, you can decide whether you want to pick it up at the home that is hosting the sale on a designated day (free of charge), pick it up from the EBTH warehouse in Cincinnati (for a fee) or have it shipped to your home (for a fee).

Here are a couple of current deals that caught my eye...

currently at $85

currently at $60

currently at $12

currently at $10

currently at $435

So what do you think? Sound like fun? Just don't blame me when you spend hours on the site browsing the goods.

Happy shopping!
