Woodfill Teacher Named 'Teacher of Excellence'

Congratulations to Allyson Jones, Third Grade Teacher at Woodfill Elementary, who was just named a "Teacher of Excellence."  Mrs. Jones was nominated by Principal Keith Faust, parents, students, and teaching staff from Woodfill for The Cincinnati Christian University Teacher of Excellence Award.

The teachers nominated for this award were judged on 3 criteria: excellence in their classroom, excellence in their school and/or excellence in their community.

The nomination letter sent off to be judged was 13 pages long, giving several examples on how Mrs. Jones fit all criteria.  After nominations was reviewed by the election committee with Cincinnati Christian University, they selected Mrs. Jones to receive the Teacher of Excellence Award.

She will receive a $500 shopping spree at John R. Green/Teacher Supply Company, complimentary formal dinner for herself and 14 guests, and a plaque recognizing her as a Teacher of Excellence.

Mrs. Jones is an outstanding teacher and very deserving of this award. Her dedication and love for teaching is Amazing.  Congratulations to Allyson Jones on receiving the Cincinnati Christian University Teacher of Excellence Award.  Way to go!
