A truck traveling North on Memorial Parkway struck a Dodge Stratus turning left out of West Southgate Avenue Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:00 PM.

The vehicles collided at that intersecting point and slid down the hill near the fence of the Northern Kentucky Water Treatment Plant. They came to a rest and did not roll.

The driver and passenger of the truck got out of the accident unscathed. Both the driver and the passenger of the Dodge were put onto stretchers and taken to the hospital. Both looked to have sustained serious injuries.

The driver side door had to be opened with the jaws of life. The driver of the Dodge looked to be a younger male and the passenger was an older male. Onlookers on the scene said that the truck looked to be going the correct speed limit.

Authorities on the scene deferred comment. This story will be updated. Prayers to those involved.

  1. Maybe you shouldn't be posting this so soon, before you know what happened to the driver.
