Members of the Johnson Site-Based Decision Making Council were very impressed with Brummer.

With her elementary background and experience, we feel that she is the perfect fit for the Johnson family and will prove to be a strong leader who will continue to promote excellence at Johnson Elementary.”

Superintendent Gene Kirchner stated, “It is indeed a pleasure to welcome Tonya Brummer to Fort Thomas. She is a proven instructional leader and an excellent communicator. I am extremely confident that under her leadership, the students and staff at Johnson Elementary will achieve great things. I would also thank each of the Johnson SBDM council members whose dedication and commitment to obtaining the best principal for their school was clearly evident throughout the entire selection process.”

Brummer added, “I am extremely excited to join the Fort Thomas team as principal of Johnson Elementary School! Meeting staff, students and families of the Johnson community is what I am looking forward to next.”
