UPDATE: Police Still Searching for Suspected Door-to-Door Scam Artist

NEWPORT, Ky. -- Newport Police have posted to their Facebook page that Jeffrey Brumback, known door-to-door scam artist, is still wanted in connection with stealing from a 100-year-old victim.

FTM first reported on Brumback back in February, when Fort Thomas Police Chief Mike Daly reported to city council that they were pursuing a suspect for unlawful door-to-door solicitation.

A month later, FTPD had charged Brumback with theft by deception, but did not place Brumback under arrest.

Any information on Brumback's whereabouts should be reported to the Fort Thomas Police, at 859-441-6562, the Newport Police Tip Line, at 859-261-8477, or Campbell County Dispatch Services, at 859-292-3622.
