Source: Press Release

Anthony Bonomini, candidate for Fort Thomas City Council has organized a cash mob to support and promote local small businesses. Bonomini is asking everyone to show up at Fort Thomas Central for the Artisan Market between 5-8pm, Friday, July 18, 2014. The purpose of this “cash mob” is for everyone in the community to show up at For Thomas Central for the Artisan Market and purchase original artwork, pottery, jewelry, and all natural products.

Bonomini said, “I believe that it is imperative for city council to promote out local small businesses. They are the economic engines of our community. It is one of the vital responsibilities of our local government to craft an environment that enables our local small businesses to succeed and economic development to thrive.”

“We are very excited to bring the Artisan Market to Fort Thomas,” said Barb Thomas, owner of Fort Thomas Central. “Hearing customers comment about how nice it would be to have an event like this in Fort Thomas, we have decided to bring a family friendly event that will take place on the front lawn of Fort Thomas Central in conjunction with the Farmers Market. Community support is very important to us, as our event is about and for the community.”

Bonomini plans to host cash mob events at local Fort Thomas Businesses up until the City Council election in November.

“Please come and join us,” said Bonomini. “This will be a great opportunity to spread the shop local word and I’d love to meet as many residents as I can to understand where we can improve as a city.”
