BREAKING: NKY Police Searching for Purse Snatcher

COLD SPRING, Ky. -- The Cold Spring Police Department has reported on their Facebook page that a woman was robbed yesterday around 1 p.m., in the lot of County Square, on Martha Layne Collins Blvd.

"The lady was walking from her car to a business when a subject grabbed her purse and fled," the post reports.

Police say the suspect is a white male in his early twenties, wearing light-colored clothing. The report also states the suspect drove off in a white Kia SUV, possibly with dealer plates.

A similar incident also occurred in recent days in Taylor Mill, according to Sgt. Karen Spanyer with the Taylor Mill Police.

"The MO is the same. He approaches the victim, grabs their purse, and runs off," Spanyer told FTM. "We're most likely looking at the same suspect in these cases."

Spanyer also confirmed that the suspect involved in the Taylor Mill incident was also spotted fleeing in a white SUV, with possibly temporary tags.

Police ask, if you have any information, to call Cold Spring Police at 859-441-6289 or Campbell County Dispatch at 859-292-3622. You can also call Taylor Mill Police at 859-581-1192 or Kenton County Dispatch at 859-356-3191.
