Mama on a Budget: Fort Thomas Central Artisan Market

Artisan Market Tonight

Looking for something fun to do while anxiously awaiting the opening of 15 North next door (opening sometime this fall)?  Stop over to Fort Thomas Central for their second installment of their Artisan Market.

The Fort Thomas Central Artisan Market takes place the third Friday of every month from 5-8 pm (changed from 4-7 last month) at FTCentral, 3 N Fort Thomas Avenue.  This month there will be thirteen different artisans and independent vendors featuring six amazing giveaways:

1)    Dress by Mary Helen Clothing
2)    Sentiment sign by Kathy Smith
3)    Watercolor notecards by Joan Miley
4)    Hand-turned wooden piece by Jerry Warner
5)    Authentic GEM pendant by Jackie Donley, and
6)     Pottery by Colin Shadwell

Drawings for the giveaways will take place at 6:30 on the front lawn and everyone in attendance will receive a ticket upon arrival.  You must be present to win.

During the market, live music will be provided by Johnny Delagrange of Fort Thomas.  Also, Marty’s Waffle Truck will be there for your food-enjoyment.  So, bring your lawn chair and a cooler and enjoy some local art, music, and community.

"We are very excited to bring the Artisan Market to Fort Thomas," says Barb Thomas, owner of Fort Thomas Central.  "Due to hearing customers comment about how nice it would be to have an event like this in Fort Thomas, we have decided to bring a family friendly event that will take place on the front lawn at Fort Thomas Central in conjunction with the farmers market," says Thomas.

As reported on this site yesterday, Anthony Bonomini, candidate for Fort Thomas City Council, has organized a cash mob to support and promote local small businesses. Bonomini is asking everyone to show up at Fort Thomas Central for the Artisan Market between 5-8pm, Friday, July 18, 2014.
