Amazon Seeking to Fill 300 Positions at NKY Fulfillment Centers

Amazon fulfillment center, Hebron, KY/WCPO

HEBRON, Ky. -- The e-retail giant Amazon.com has announced it is seeking to fill 300 full-time positions at its fulfillment center located in Hebron.

Amazon explained in a news release that the staffing expansion comes as a result of growing customer demand.

"We are thrilled that Amazon is adding more than 300 full-time jobs with comprehensive benefits at its Hebron, Kentucky fulfillment centers," Boone County Judge Executive Gary Moore said in the release. "New jobs support our families and communities, stimulate our local economy, and allow Northern Kentucky to remain a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family."

The announcement comes hot off the heels of nearly 1,000 warehouse positions announced in Northern Kentucky earlier this month.

A recent report has also shown Boone, Kenton, and Campbell County to boast the lowest unemployment levels in the state.
