Have You Signed Up for #TheGrandCity Experiment?

The Grand City Experiment will begin across Greater Cincinnati on Wednesday/YouTube

A group of organizers around Greater Cincinnati want everyone to spend a little time every day for a whole month dedicated to one simple goal: make your neighborhood more friendly.

The challenge is called The Grand City Experiment, and it begins Wednesday and will continue through the month of October.

The concept is fairly simple. Each morning, participants all across the tri-state will receive a daily email, challenging them to engage in a particular task or activity with someone living in their community, but whom they have never met:
Grab coffee with the new guy on your street. Heck, add a shot of espresso. Now what if 100 people in our city did that today? Think of the ripple effect we could create together if thousands of us did one simple challenge each day for an entire month. Everyone in our city could feel at home.
While this sort of challenge might lend itself more to an urban setting, where one will cross paths with hundreds of strangers on a daily basis, the challenge is being extended to all neighborhoods of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The deadline to register (which is free, by the way) is by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night, with #TheGrandCity experiment to begin with the first challenge Wednesday morning.
