The Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors (NKAR) has announced that it is supporting Jim Luersen, the Republican candidate for Campbell County Clerk. NKAR’s mission is to promote, educate and protect the rights of real property owners, and to assist its members to effectively operate and prosper in a constantly changing real estate landscape.
Luersen, making his first run at political office, was one of only nine candidates in all of Northern Kentucky to receive the NKAR endorsement. “Realtors have a lot of interaction with the clerk’s office, and it is important that the incoming clerk has the kind of experience to manage the office efficiently,” said Mike Spicer, NKAR’s president. “Jim Luersen clearly has that experience and that’s why he earned our support.”
Luersen, a Campbell County native, has been a real estate and tax law attorney for 30 years, during which time he has worked closely with the Campbell County Clerk’s office. He has also been an Assistant Campbell County Attorney for 12 years.
“I have worked with realtors for three decades, and I know how important they are to our community and how important the clerk’s office is to them,” said Luersen. “I’m proud to have earned their endorsement.”
