FTIS to Offer Seminar on Leaving College Debt-Free

Highlands High School is currently, and has perennially, ranked among the nation's best when it comes to college preparedness. But how prepared are students, and their families, for avoiding the often unmanageable costs associated with a college degree?

To aid families in the school district facing this challenge, Fort Thomas Independent Schools (FTIS) will offer a community informational seminar next on how to leave college debt-free.

The seminar, called "College Affordability: How to Pick the Right College and Come Out Debt Free," is free to the public and will feature college expert Dan Bisig from College and Beyond, LLC. Bisig will share strategies every family can use to pick the right colleges based on what a family can afford.

Attendees will leave the seminar with a number of free resources, as well as a game plan on how and where to research which college is the best fit.
