Some of the Barney and the Howlers crew. Playing Saturday night at 915 Pub and Grill, 8:00-11:00. |
A quick rundown of my logic on why tomorrow is the day to hit the town and how to enjoy it in Fort Thomas:
- Most have the day off the next day.
- Everyone comes home and it's a chance to do a mini-reunion 'Friendsgiving.'
- No one wants to entertain people at the house with Thanksgiving on the horizon.
- You have the ultimate hangover cure the following day in the form of Thanksgiving dinner. And leftovers. And leftovers. And leftovers.
Wednesday, November 26th: Olde Fort Pub. Josh McIntosh and Company will be joined by special guest, Carter New, starting at 9:00. Barbecue will be available all night and they will even be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Saturday, November 29: It's no secret we have been pushing Small Business Saturday for a while as the biggest advocate for our local businesses in Fort Thomas. After you get done with some of your shopping in Fort Thomas, the 915 Pub and Grill will be hosting a reunion of Barney and the Howlers.
Chuck Keller, Greg Whittle, Ken Bowman and Dave and Trish Lewis will be performing from 8-11.
So remember this week: Shop Local, Eat Local, Drink Local and Hang Local!
