Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to host Bourbon and Bow Tie Bash

CINCINNATI -- The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Southwest Ohio Chapter’s Emerging Leaders Council will host its inaugural Bourbon and Bow Tie Bash Nov.14.

The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Horseshoe Casino in downtown Cincinnati.

 

The Bourbon and Bow Tie Bash will raise money to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

The event will feature bourbon tasting stations and cocktails from George Remus, along with food pairings. There will also be live music, a silent auction, a “Bow Tie experiences” live auction, and an exclusive grand prize raffle.


After the silent auction the “Bow Tie experience” live auction will begin. Attendees will be able to bid on special Bow Ties paired with experiences, such as a lunch with the University of Cincinnati’s President, Santa Ono, and a one of a kind bow tie designed by Bow Tie Cause owner, Dhani Jones.

Lastly there will be 100 tickets available for the grand prize Raffle – A trip to New York City. The trip includes two round trip tickets on the Ultimate Air Shuttle from Cincinnati to New York City along with a three-night stay in any Marriott Property.

Event tickets are available for purchase and can be bought here. Tickets purchased online in advance are $30 (with bourbon tasting) and $20 (without bourbon tasting). Tickets purchased at the door are $5 more. Cocktail party attire and Bow Ties are encouraged.

The Emerging Leaders Council is a group of young professionals dedicated to raising funds and awareness for JDRF. The Council hosts various fundraising, networking, and social events that attract hundreds of leaders with and without Type 1 Diabetes.
