As the Bluebirds gear up to hit the gridiron in Friday night's playoff game against the Covington Catholic Colonels, the editors and publishers of each city's respective news sites met to settle a friendly wager made earlier in the season.

Mark Collier, editor and publisher of Fort Thomas Matters, met with Michael Monks, editor and publisher of The River City News at RCN's Covington office Friday morning to discuss tonight's playoff match up and to collect his winnings on the bet they placed on HHS and Cov Cath's last bout back in September.

Applaud has done a lot of great work building brands, working especially closely with a number of Fort Thomas organizations and businesses including #FTMFamily members Cobblestone Cafe and Jeri Stull Orthodontics.

You can check out more of their work at or on their Facebook page.

So, what do you think? Think the Bluebirds will extend their streak against the Colonels again tonight? Find out what FTM sports writer G. Michael Graham thinks it will take.

Go Bluebirds!
