Fort Thomas Schools to Play Part in Annual Holiday Walk

Highlands High School and the Fort Thomas Education Foundation will play a part in this year's Fort Thomas Holiday Walk/FTM file

Highlands High School and the Fort Thomas Education Foundation will participate in the annual Fort Thomas Holiday Walk on Sunday, December 7, from 5:30-8pm.

At the high school, several student groups will offer holiday activities for children, including arts and crafts and pictures with “Bluebird Santa.”

Additionally, in the event of a state football championship win for the Bluebirds on Saturday, holiday walkers are invited to celebrate the Bluebirds' 23rd overall state championship title. A victory celebration will begin immediately following the Holiday Walk on Sunday, December 7, at 8:15pm in the Performing Arts Center.

At the Fort Thomas Independent Schools’ central office, located at 28 N. Fort Thomas Ave., visitors will have the chance to learn about all the work underway in Phase 4 of the Highlands High School Renovation Project and enjoy cookies while browsing brochures and materials about the school district.

The holiday walk also provides a chance to buy unique and meaningful holiday gifts from the Fort Thomas Education Foundation, including a Tribute Gift to teachers, Foundation Club memberships, Legacy locker or dance tickets.

If visitors shop through Amazon Smile and register ‘Fort Thomas Education Foundation’ as their charity, the FTEF will receive 0.05% of all of purchases.

The Fort Thomas Holiday Walk will take place Sunday, Dec. 7, from 5:30-8pm.
