Former city councilman Tom Lampe was sworn in to Campbell Co. Fiscal Court Monday/Provided |
Tom Lampe, former Fort Thomas city councilman, is taking his experience to the next level.
After serving six terms on Fort Thomas's legislative body, Lampe decided to run for Campbell County Fiscal Court's district three seat, replacing veteran commissioner Ken Rechtin, who was vying for (but lost) the Judge/Executive position.
In November, he won that seat over Democrat Mark Ramler, and Monday was sworn into the seat by Judge, and long-time friend, Fritz A. Stine.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the new commissioner said:
He also posted these photos Tuesday afternoon:I was sworn into office on December 22, 2014 by the Honorable Judge Fred A. Stine, V. I am fortunate to count him as a friend. Thank you Fritz! I look forward to serving our county as Commissioner.
