This Prisoner Escaped and Might Be Headed for Northern Kentucky

Joshua Stephenson was nearly finished serving his sentence when he escaped from prison Saturday/Kentucky State Police

Reports say an escaped inmate from a prison in Lexington might be headed for Northern Kentucky.

According to reports, the inmate, Joshua Stephenson, was serving time in connection with a series of more than a dozen burglaries throughout Campbell County, back in 2009.

Now, despite his sentence nearly being up, Stephenson and fellow inmate Michael Fleet have escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Facility, and police are asking for help to locate him.

Because Stephenson is from Northern Kentucky, authorities believe that is where he is headed.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Joshua Stephenson or Michael Fleet you are encouraged to call Kentucky State Police or the Blackburn Correctional Center at 859-246-2366.
