Route 8 CLOSED Today Through Friday

Route 8 in Fort Thomas. A guardrail is nearly flush with the road as a result of slippage. 

KY 8 (Mary Ingalls Highway) 5 – 7.9 mile-marker – Tomorrow through Friday, March 17 – 20th, KY 8 (Mary Ingalls Highway) will be closed to through traffic so that crews can remove a mudslide near sections of right of way.

The closure will be between Tower Hill Road and KY 445 (River Road).


The closure will take place from 8 AM until 4 PM. Motorists should seek an alternate route during this time. Emergency vehicles will have access
