|Luke Muller Golf Outing - No One Fight Alone|
10 years ago, Luke Muller was diagnosed with lymphoma. Family and friends started this golf outing as a day to let loose, have fun, and monetarily support the Muller Family. Today, Luke is blessed to be perfectly healthy, but the outing founders wanted to provide for more local families in this same way, so the outing continues and gets bigger every year.
In 2010, the LMGO teamed up with Fort Thomas Provides, a community service oriented 501c3. Now, the outing is not only a blessing to families fighting cancer, it's also tax deductible!
Last year was the biggest turnout in the event's history. 100 foursomes filled up all 3 courses at Kenton County Public and raised enough to be a big blessing to the families of a two kids fighting cancer.
"It's hard to believe we are in our 9th year. We continue to be extremely grateful and thankful that Luke is doing well," said John Muller, Luke's father. "We are also grateful that with your help over the years this outing has turned into something that allows all of us to reach out and give a hand and support to other young people and their families who are fighting cancer."
This year our honorees are Brady Walz and Kate Callahan. Brady, who will be a sophomore at Highlands High, just completed his first year of an intense three year treatment plan for Leukemia. Kate is a 6 year old young angel who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
"We hope you will join us for what has become a day of celebration in the midst of the battle," said Muller.
