The Summer Concert Amphitheater kicked off earlier this month on June 4th with the Northern Kentucky Legends Hall of Fame concert at Tower Park. Last week even with the rain, the Naked Karate Girls and Katie Walters rocked a successful show (PICTURES).
According to the Summer Concert Series flyer, which has widely been distributed to the Fort Thomas community at large, could Fort Thomas be putting on an under-cover mega-concert featuring international superstar Bruno Mars?
Well, not exactly, according to Renaissance Chairman Debbie Buckley.
"The Klaberheads are a German family band that plays Oktoberfest Cincinnati with old school German music," she said. "They surprise the venues (by playing) the likes of Bruno Mars and Frank Sinatra. They are very versatile and fun."
The Klaberheads, who play Tuesday June 30th at 7 p.m., had a price tag of $1,000 that the city paid. Unless Bruno Mars is tuning up his game to join them and doing the concert for free, the city's ledger backs up that theory that the big band sounds of the Klaberheads might meld into "Just The Way You Are."
