After 20 years in Fort Thomas, Shari’s on the Avenue Changes Ownership
Shari’s on the Avenue is celebrating 20 years as a successful Fort Thomas business this year with two big changes – new ownership and a new name. Starting, June 1 Tammy Vance Poole, a stylist and employee at Shari’s for 17 years, will be taking charge. Tammy is also changing the name to North Avenue Salon.
She said to expect the same welcoming atmosphere, with some new changes.
“I am so excited to be taking over ownership of the salon. The Fort Thomas and NKY community have been so supportive of me and our salon over the past 17 years, and I can’t wait to expand to new services, such as make-up and birthday parties and introduce the salon to more people in the Fort Thomas community,” said Tammy.
A Grand Re-Opening ceremony will be held on Friday evening, June 12. The entire community will be invited. North Avenue Salon will feature 20% of products and gift certificate specials.

“When Shari and I came to the agreement of changing ownership, her still being a part of the salon was really important to me. It has been such a privilege to work for her and I am so excited to take over the successful business she has built,” said Tammy. “Everyone is invited to come to the Grand Re-Opening. We are located right next to Schrader’s. If you have never been to the salon, stop in and introduce yourself. I am excited to meet more people in our great community.”
North Avenue Salon is looking to hire new stylists. If interested, contact her directly at the salon.
