Storm Knocks Out Power Again in Fort Thomas (7-14-15)

A quick burst of storms came through Fort Thomas around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Yesterday, Duke Energy worked to restore power for thousands and for over 960 customers they did not have power until this afternoon.
Duke says there are over 3,000 customers without power as a result of the storm today. Their automated phone system and online outage map says power is expected to be out until Wednesday, July 15 at 6:00 p.m.

Reports began filing into Fort Thomas that power outages were taking place in the middle and south ends of town from Miller to Sherman Avenues to Edwards Ct.

The video shows a tree that had fallen on a house on Riverview Avenue.

Fort Thomas Matters has contacted Duke Energy for a comment. According to WCPO Meterologist, Steve Raleigh, the weather today will not be like yesterday. He said there will be a few "rogue" storms, but just rain after it's clears our area.

Check back for more as the story develops.
