If you're headed to Lumenocity this weekend, you have some local talent to thank for some of the projections.
Fort Thomas resident Chad Smith, who is a creative partner along with Mike Wolfram at Foster & Flux, were approached by Dan Reynolds and Steve McGowan, of Brave Berlin, to lend a hand this year.
"We created a bit of content for nearly every piece in the show, including the entirety of the fourth piece—Iron Foundry—and the Cuckoo Clock Finale," Smith says. "We couldn't be more excited about this project. It's such a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the city we love."
Don't have tickets? Check out Lumenocity Village, which opens at 4pm Thursday and Friday, and 3pm Saturday and Sunday. Perfect for the family, you can check out a wide range of free performances, purchase local food, art and crafts (including Rhinegeist's Glow LUMENOCITY Pale Ale), attend a free Music Hall open house, and participate in face painting, art making, an "instrument playground" and a "be the conductor booth."
Interviews with the creative team of Lumenocity (including Wolfram and Smith) will air before the live broadcast of the event on CET Saturday, should you wish to watch the program from home.
