But they can't do it alone.
"We are gathering all of our resources which have been in the planning for a year now. Each year we grow bigger and bigger and hopefully better and better," said Merchants and Music Chair, Linda Slone. "As we grow, we find ourselves in need of more volunteers and this year is no exception."
If you can volunteer your time, here is what the Renaissance Board of Fort Thomas needs you:
Friday: During the day in putting out 300 bales of straw.
Saturday morning: Help distributing the coolers and ice.
Saturday: Work in the following areas thru out the day/night:
Beer Booths: All times (we have 6 beer booths to cover); email Roth.Marcus@UPS.com
Ticket Sales: all times (we have 3 ticket booths to cover); email firstname.lastname@example.org
2nd stage/Green Room: another volunteer.
Ice runner: help deliver ice to vendors when it is ordered.
Entrances: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. to pass out program maps at the two entrances.
For any information and to volunteer call Debbie Buckley, at 859-572-1225 or Linda Slone, at 859-750-9532.
"We will take whatever time anyone is willing to give us, just get in touch with one and us and we will mark you down," said Slone. "We have an excellent Renaissance Board and Merchants & Music Board, but it does take a whole 'village' to put on a great festival."
