Rollover Accident on I-471 N Near Fort Thomas

UPDATE (12:35 p.m.)
According to Jim Schneider, of the Southgate Police Department, the driver of the vehicle that rolled over on I-471 did not have any serious injuries and did not require transport to the hospital.

It was the only vehicle involved and weather conditions were a factor in the crash.

A rollover accident on I-471 North, just past exit 2 was one of many accidents on Northern Kentucky roadways this morning.

Fort Thomas police were assisting Southgate Police on the cleanup of the accident, which occurred around 10 a.m.

There was no word on the extent of injuries to the driver of the vehicle, but FTM has calls into Southgate Police to update the story when more details become available.

Traffic was also backed up for miles on I-71/75 after a crash near the I-275 interchange this morning. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the I-275/Erlanger/Exit 185 exit.

Police said traffic was backed up all the way to the Mt. Zion Road exit.
