This Sunday, the City of Fort Thomas will host its 13th annual Holiday Walk, which starts in the Inverness Business District and moves through the Towne Centre central business district.

Weather looks good, with temperatures in the 40s, and a low chance for precipitation.

The holiday walk gives businesses in the central business district an opportunity to showcase their business to local residents. Many will be open late and participating in special activities or giving away treats.

Programs will be dispersed prior to the event that, when stamped by 12 businesses, can be turned in to win prize baskets donated by local businesses. Some participating businesses are the Campbell County YMCA, Best Furniture, Pet Wants, Studio Root, Fort Thomas Central, Fort Thomas Antiques and Design Center, Bowman's Framing, Fort Thomas Coffee, Midway Cafe, The Blue Marble, North Avenue Salon and Village Players.

Shuttles from Executive Transportation will be running from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and a horse-drawn carriages will also be running during that time.

The Highlands Sinphonia will be playing at the Fort Thomas Fire Department, where photos of Santa will take place as well.

The Art House will also be doing something big.

"For the Holiday Walk we will display over 40 handmade ornaments and hand-decorated candle votives made by kids and visitors to the Art House," said Parrish Monk, Director. "We will serve 4 levels of award winning Texas Chili including a very hot Ghost pepper chili and a vegetarian (no meat) chili to our guests. We will have warm beverages and other surprises for our guests."

Tracy Davis State Farm will be giving away hotdogs at Citizen's Bank.

Schone Kitchen Design is giving away a chance to have your family Christmas card taken.

"As our gift to you we will be offering free family Christmas photos taken inside our beautiful building, perfect to use for your Christmas card. Also while you're here you can register to win a 15% discount on Medallion or Design Craft Cabinetry."
