The Art House - Fort Thomas, Kentucky

Summary:  Starting in February the Art House will host a number of new and exciting classes and events ranging from crafting classes for adults and children to couples painting party for Valentine’s Day to a new creative writing workshop led by local writer Tina Neyer.

The Art House will host several open paint parties with Gallery to Go as well.

- We are pleased to announce that on February 19th we will launch our new online shop and online gallery at  Customers can view and purchase art and artisan creations online. This will be a positive step forward in the Art House’s growth.

- The Art House's monthly themed-based art shows will resume in February and their next art show is called “Structure” and will be on Saturday February 20th  from noon to 3 p.m.

- In honor of Women's History Month 2016, the Art House will host its second annual Women in Art exhibit featuring all works from local women artists.  This show will be on Saturday March 19th  noon to 3 p.m.  As always these shows are fun, family friendly, and free to the public.

Creative Corner with Sarah Rocheleau:
Creative Corner is a 6 week creative class for children and young adults. Art House instructor and artist Sarah Rocheleau will engage and teach children and young adults how to create their own picture books, comics, sculpture, and animal art while also venturing into art forms from around the world like scroll making from Ancient Egypt, origami from Japan, and aluminum wall art from Mexico. Parents are welcome to participate with their children.

The program last for 6 weeks. There are 3 sessions to choose from. All art and creative supplies provided:
Session A:  Tuesdays  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm designed for young children, stay at home parents,  preschoolers  and children that attend school half days. Dates February 23rd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

Session B: Thursdays  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm designed for stay at home parents,  preschoolers  and children that attend school half days. Dates February 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th 24th, 31st

Session C: Thursdays  4:30 pm to 5:30 pm designed as an after school program for ages 6 to 12 years old. Dates February 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th 24th, 31st  
All art and creative supplies provided.

Location:  The Art House in Fort Thomas   19 North Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas Kentucky 41075.

The Art of Creative Writing Workshops for adults led by local writer Tina Neyer, M.Ed.
Beginners and experienced writers are welcome.

This is a perfect opportunity for you to learn and enhance your creative writing skills within a supportive community of beginning and experienced writers. This workshop will cultivate skills needed to write about family history, memoirs, journaling, creative non-fiction, essays, journaling or even free writing.

Two sessions offered: 
Session A: Tuesday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30. Beginning February 23 to March 29.
Session B: Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30    Beginning February 24 to March 30.

Cost: Suggested weekly donation of $10 to $20 or a $75 donation for payment in full at registration: $75

Come and enjoy being around a small community of other aspiring writers in a personal small class session. Space is limited to 10 people.  While walk-ins are welcome, pre-registration is strongly suggested.  

Young Rembrandts drawing classes for children grades 1-6. Classes are Friday 3:30 to 4:30  from 1/22/16 to 2/19/16.
