80s Throwback Party to Benefit Brighton Center (PICTURES)

80's Throwback Party - Record Attendance, Record Donations. Presented by Katie Walters from Q102 and Fort Thomas Matters.

Katie Walters threw an all-timer on Saturday. A record amount of people showed up for the third annual 80s Throwback Party to benefit Brighton Recovery Center for Women. Over 230 people helped raise nearly $5,000 for the night, which featured DJ Mark McFadden and was held at the Highland Country Club.

"I am beyond thrilled with the success of the party. I feel like the word has finally spread about the party and the Brighton Center," said Walters. "I want to thank Mark Collier and Fort Thomas Matters,  Q102 our two big sponsors, Greg Neal, and Bryan and Kimberly Carlisle, and the entire community for their support. It's really been a group effort in making this party such a success."

Walters has already booked the date for next year's party.

"I cannot wait until next year.  Mark McFadden has already committed  to DJing the Party once again. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 back at the Highland Country Club. I plan on selling it out and raising even more money than we did this year," she said.
