The "Snobbiest" Places in Kentucky

The people at RoadSnacks are at it again. This time, they are poking their internet finger at some of the fine people of Northern Kentucky by ranking the "snobbiest" places in the Commonwealth.

They gathered up all of the places in Kentucky with populations of 5,000 people or more, which ended up being 82 cities, then they used census data to pick and choose statistics they identified as snobby.

The lower the number, the "snobbier" the place, and the statistics seem to favor Northern Kentucky with these metrics.

Not exactly scientific, but as they claim, "it's all in good fun."

Their metrics:
Median home price (Higher is snobbier)
Median household income (Higher is snobbier)
Percent of population with a college degree (Higher is snobbier)
Private schools per capita (Higher is snobbier)
Theaters per capita (Higher is snobbier)
Art galleries per capita (Higher is snobbier)

  2. Those housing prices are low compared to Florida which is one of the reasons I'm hoping to move there plus I know alot of "good people" there.
