While attending Eastern Kentucky, Ossege intends to pursue a degree in pre-veterinary medicine.

"As a multi-sport athlete, it’s often hard to stay motivated with both sports,” said Brian Alessandro, Highlands High School head cross country and girls’ track and field coach.  “Lauren has been one of the top runners in the state for many years, and I am excited that she is going to take her talents to the next level.”

Gray started running track for Highlands while in middle school and cross country in his freshman year. Matt is a leader who helped the cross country team achieve 2nd and 3rd place finishes his final two seasons. He was a member of the track state championship team and has been a member of two state championship 4x800 meter relay teams.

While attending Centre College, Gray intends to pursue a degree in political science or international relations.

"Matt is the true definition of what it means to be a student athlete,” said Brian Alessandro, Highlands High School head cross country coach.  “Matt is always willing to work hard. As a former NCAA Division III coach, I know he will do great things for Centre in the classroom and with running.”
