Highlands High School senior swimmer Maddie Huber will sign a letter of intent to continue her swimming career for the Centre College Colonels, a member of the Southern Athletic Association. The signing will be held at today in the media center at Highlands High School.

Huber helped lead the Bluebirds to five straight Region 7 Combined Team Championships and two Girls Team Region 7 Runner-up finishes.  She is a five-time KHSAA State Qualifier and placed in the Top 8 at the State Meet the past four years.

Huber is ranked the #39 swimmer in Kentucky by CollegeSwimming.com.

"Swimming has given me a sense of team work that helps to encourage people and has helped to encourage me even outside of the pool," she said. "The lessons I learn from swimming and being challenged at the collegiate level will help me to encourage others when I go out into the world."
