Bettis-Shah was in the banking business as a VP in retail branches for more than ten years. After taking some time to raise her family, she decided to return to work as an insurance agent.
"I knew that I had a strong background in sales, service and business management. When I looked at the market, I saw there is such a need for help with healthcare and employee benefits that opening my own agency with Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Company just made sense. So I started as an agent to ensure that I knew all then accepted the opportunity to open this agency in February of this year to cover the Greater Cincinnati Area, Bettis-Shah said.
She added that this location is great, close to home, safe and sees a lot of traffic.
"Numerous members of our community are small business owners which is who I work with, and I wanted to give back to our community," Bettis-Shah said.
