This year's Merchants & Music Festival is fast approaching. On September 24, the tradition continues when Fort Thomas welcomes The Brothers Osborne, The Kentucky Headhunters and other guests for the 13th annual event.

New to the festival this year, Jim Beam is sponsoring a large bourbon tent that will be located at the top of the amphitheater bowl of the main stage. The tent will feature a classic, rustic bourbon bar to compliment the experience, full of pub tables and bourbon barrels.

Representatives from Jim Beam will be unveiling a first time market introduction of Jim Beam Double Oak Bourbon along with several cocktails available for purchase as well as straight pours of some of the Jim Beam classics.

Featured cocktails will include Jim Beam Blood Orange Old Fashioned, Kentucky Mules and a special bourbon slush made with Jim Beam Apple just for the festival. The Jim Beam girls will have plenty of swag to give away throughout the day as well.

"We are really excited to add Jim Beam as a sponsor at this year's Merchants and Music Festival," said Renaissance Board Chair and M&M Committee member Brian Sand.

We try to grow the festival in new and exciting ways every single year. This is the first year we are going to bring cocktails to the patrons of the festival. With Kentucky being the home of the great American spirit, bourbon, we couldn't think of a more perfect pairing than Jim Beam to go along with the all of the great local merchants, food and of course music."

Jim Beam Double Oak is first aged in charred American white oak barrels, then poured into another freshly charred barrel to mature for a second time. The added interaction with the oak wood results in a liquid intense in flavor, smooth in taste. Photo: twitter.com
"It's going to be a truly unique experience and really fantastic viewing point to watch our headliners Brothers Osborne. We couldn't be more excited to have Jim Beam as a partner this year. It's going to be a blast!," Sand added.
