Helicopter Flight Patterns Worry Fort Thomas Residents

This picture was taken from the UC Healthcare helicopter on July 2, 2016. FTM file.
A helicopter in flight circling Fort Thomas neighborhoods on Wednesday night prompted multiple inquiries to flood the FTM tip line and social media inboxes, but according to Fort Thomas Police Lt., Rich Whitford, nothing was reported to them.

"There was nothing reported to us. No accidents reported that would have our officers dispatched either," he said.

Whitford said the best guess he could venture was helicopters practicing for a flyover for some of the Presidential candidates and surrogates, who'll be in Cincinnati today and Friday.

Donald Trump will host a rally at U.S. Bank Arena at 7:30 p.m. today. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event have been oversold, and a large crowd is expected. Local GOP organizers were still working on details of the program and the rally late Wednesday.

There was no official information about who would introduce Trump, or who would appear with him on stage.

Former President, Bill Clinton, will speak at Washington Park on Friday.
