St. Andrews Starts New Fundraiser To Support Community Outreach
The Kentucky Derby celebration comes early to Fort Thomas this year with a new fundraiser, Horses for Hope, on April 28 at Highland Country Club. Sponsored by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Horses for Hope combines fun, fellowship, and great food with an opportunity to strengthen several vital community programs.
Proceeds from the event will support organizations including:

hungry and in need of assistance
• St. Paul’s Food Pantry and Cooking School in Newport, which teaches about nutrition and
healthy food preparation skills
• St. Agnes House, which offers free lodging to families who have a loved one in a hospital
in the Lexington area
• Family Promise, which supports families and individuals who are homeless or in
Horses for Hope is open to all adults who want an evening where they can do good while having fun! Tickets are $30 and include hors d’oeuvres and desserts, music and dancing, and silent auction and raffles. The festivities begin at 7 p.m.
