“We are excited to announce that Cam will be continuing his football career at Union College as a punter,” said Brian Weinrich, Highlands High School head football coach. “He had a great year as our punter and continued to improve throughout the season. Now that Cam will focus on just punting, he has the potential to have an immediate impact, as well as a tremendous career.”

Also, Highlands High School tennis player Jeffrey Schenk signed a letter of intent to play tennis at Thomas More Collegeon Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in the Media Center at Highlands High School.

Jeffrey has started on the Highlands varsity tennis team all four years of his high school career. His hard work brought him from the rank of 2nd doubles position his freshman and sophomore years to regional doubles champion as a junior in 2016. He has been team captain for two years and helped lead Highlands to the 10th Region Team Championship two years in a row.

His steady improvement and dedication to making himself a better player has given him the opportunity to play at the next level.  Jeffrey will further his tennis and academic career this fall when he attends Thomas More College and plays for the Saints.  He plans to major in nursing.

  1. He's playing qb also not just punting.

  2. Didn't realize he was a QB as well. Didn't see him in any games last couple of years.

  3. Should have been.
