Kevin Brooks, Director of Community Development of The Barrington, said the festivities are open to all. "The event is always a community favorite, so make sure you're there when the whistle blows at 11:00 because it can be fast-paced," he said.
"We do this each year to give back to the community that we love so much and to create a special day for the children and their families to spend time together and have fun. We feel that part of our job is to help create special memories regardless of age or generation and that is exactly what we do," said Brooks.
This event is put on by the Barrington of Fort Thomas and Highland Spring of Fort Thomas. Both are campuses for independent living, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until noon.
