The event is held at the amphitheater in Tower Park and is free and open to the public.
There will be an evening full of performances, food trucks, and beer provided by West Sixth Brewing. Performing in the park this Thursday are:
• The Dingos, a very popular band that featured “British Invasion” music in the late '60s.
• The Brotherhood Singers, an a cappella group that specializes in spiritual, gospel, R&B and Motown music, has made several tours of Europe and Russia, and has been honored by The Library of Congress.
• The Wanted, a popular group in the '60s and '70s who played all the area “In places.”
• The Bad Seeds, who are former Columbia Recording artists. This band has played in many major concerts in New York and up and down the East Coast, setting a style that is still copied today by many bands.

Concerts have been scaled back this year, down from 14 last year and 11 in 2015. This year, in September, a Blues Fest will be replacing the normal late September Merchants and Music date plus other music acts during the weeklong Fort Thomas Sesquicentennial celebration.
