Caroline was a member of St. Thomas Parish where she also attended elementary school. She was a 2016 graduate of Newport Central Catholic High School.
“She was one of the best people I have ever met," said Rachel Hatfield, one of Caroline's many friends. "She was so kind-hearted, caring, loving, selfless and always there no matter what. She was the funniest, goofiest person ever and lit up the room when she walked in. She was beautiful from the inside out. She was a very special person and loved by all.”
Three GoFundMe pages have been set up to "show our condolences to the Huseman family & the sisters of Theta Phi Alpha by starting a GoFundMe to a cause of their choice in her honor."
One of the pages references that Huseman passed away in her sleep from a seizure.
The fundraising links can be found here and here and here.
Local businesses are also pitching in. Faded Finds in the Highland Plaza is donating a percentage of sales to the family.
